The Mustang trek is the best way to discover the mysterious world of Mustang, also known as Lo, an ancient Buddhist kingdom. Despite being cut off from the rest of the world for decades, the region was able to develop its own distinct culture and rich Tibetan traditions. This moderate, lesser-known trek passes through one of Nepal’s driest districts and gives stunning vistas of the Himalayas.
