Nepal’s Golden Triangle links the country’s three essentials in one smooth itinerary: the heritage cities of Kathmandu, the lake and mountain views of Pokhara, and the wildlife of Chitwan National Park. Most reputable operators deliver this as a 7–8 day loop with guided city touring, a Pokhara day for lake and viewpoints, and Chitwan for jeep/canoe safari and Tharu culture—exactly the structure we use here.
Expect comfortable hotels, private transfers, and curated stops that keep the pace easy. Road sections are scenic but slow by Himalayan standards: Kathmandu–Pokhara ~200 km (≈6–7 hrs); Pokhara–Chitwan ~150 km (≈4–6 hrs); Chitwan–Kathmandu ~150–170 km (≈4–6 hrs), all traffic and road-works dependent.
Best time: year-round, with autumn (Sep–Nov) and spring (Mar–May) bringing the clearest skies; Chitwan is especially good Oct–Mar for wildlife viewing.
