Walk into Nepal’s “hidden valley” on this extended 18-day Tsum Valley Trek. Tucked off the Manaslu Circuit, Tsum is a protected cultural landscape of Tibetan Buddhist villages, centuries-old monasteries and meditation caves, framed by Sringi Himal and Ganesh Himal. Our longest standard format keeps the pace gentle and immersive: enter through Lokpa and Chumling, settle into the broad fields of Chhokangparo, then continue up-valley through Nile to the high monastery of Mu Gompa.
On the return, we shift to the valley’s spiritual heart—Rachen Nunnery—and then traverse to Gumba Lungdang for a big, non-technical day hike to a Ganesh Himal Base Camp viewpoint. The route stays mostly below 4,000 m, yet feels remote and contemplative, with teahouses and homestays run by warm local families. Because Tsum is a restricted area, a licensed guide and special permits are required; our office secures all paperwork. Best seasons are (Mar–May) and (Sep–Nov) for crisp skies and prayer-flag colors.
